ConMed Exhibit Booth: Elevating Brand Presence Through Strategic Exhibit Design
As part of ConMed’s marketing communications team, I designed and art directed exhibit booth graphics for the ACS Clinical Congress. The project aimed to amplify brand visibility and showcase ConMed’s innovative surgical tools in a way that was both visually compelling and strategically aligned with the conference’s future-forward theme.
Industry:
Medical Equipment Manufacturing
Client:
ConMed
Project Duration:
4 weeks

What Needed to Be Designed—And Why
Problem
ConMed needed an exhibit experience that would stand out in a crowded trade show environment, attract surgeons and healthcare professionals, and communicate the brand’s innovative product offerings clearly and memorably.
Challenge
The booth needed to balance medical credibility with creative appeal—honoring the ACS theme of “The Surgeon of the Future” while showcasing surgical products accurately. Space limitations and the need for brand consistency across various surfaces (walls, duratrans, signage) made the design process more complex.

The Design & Its Impact
Process & Solution
I collaborated with the external vendor (3D Exhibits, Inc.) and internal stakeholders to translate ConMed’s brand into a large-format visual language. The final booth featured backlit duratrans, acrylic signage, and wall graphics with clean lines, clinical clarity, and bold product imagery—all carefully tailored to guide foot traffic and invite exploration.
Outcomes
• 🏥 Showcased 6+ medical innovations across multiple graphic zones
• 🔬 Reinforced brand trust among a clinical audience of 10K+ attendees
• 🎨 Delivered high-contrast visuals that stood out across exhibit lighting conditions
• 📈 Helped position ConMed as a future-focused surgical solutions provider
